Krokarok - 2 EV
Scaggy - 1 EV
Golett - 1 EV
_____________________________________________________________________
Speed: Route 308 (Works best for Omicron)

**In Omicron, chance of encountering Staravia is heavily reduced compared to Zeta
_____________________________________________________________________
Sp. Attack: Midnight Mansion: Floor 1
Gengar (40%) - 3 EV
Lampent (40%) - 2 EV

As this area is far from a pokemon centre, if you do not have a feasible method to KO multiple level 50 pokemon,
use the alternative method below

Sp. Attack: Route 310
Maractus - 2 EV
Roselia - 2 EV
Charmeleon - 1 EV Sp. A, 1 EV Speed

_____________________________________________________________________
Defense: Wonder Cave (Ground Floor) [Works best for Omicron]
Geodude (40%) - 1 EV
Cubone (20%) - 1 EV
Roggenrola (10%) - 1 EV
Onix (2%) - 1 EV

Defense: Midnight Way (Works best in Zeta)
Geodude (35%) - 1 EV
Nosepass (35%) - 1 EV
Roggenrola (18%) - 1 EV
Cubone (2%) - 1 EV

**Note. A Pokemon that can has a move that attacks multiple times e.g. Fury attack, is handy for pokemon with Sturdy
_____________________________________________________________________
Sp. Def: Secret Base - Mr. Mime Spawn
Mr. Mime - 2 EV (Re-enter base after each kill to make it respawn)

If you have not obtained Mr. Mine, use the below method

Sp. Def: Route 304 (Surf)
Tentacool (60%) - 1 EV
Lotad (6%) - 1 EV

Thanks for reading, I'll try and update as more content is released. If you have any other EV training suggestions, please don't hesitate to post and I'll try and add them in ASAP.

I love this list! I tried to find the best EV training spots, but it's so awesome to have one for Pokemon Zeta/Omicron specifically. Gonna make everything a bunch easier. Thanks man!

No problem Very Happy.  I've been looking through to find the best spots to EV train but there doesn't really seem to be a specialised area for Special Defense as of yet.

Just looking at Catch guide on the website, but do you mean route 310 for special attack instead of 312?

Also, route 304 could be slightly better for special defense, as there is apparently an additional 6% chance of a Lotad, which gives 1 EV. However, I can't go test myself right now because my game is glitching out like crazy...
304 is the water south east of superior.

Thanks for that. Looks good now, minimum 66% of getting desired EV.

Found one more! **Zeta only**, you have a 90% chance of Defense EV in Midnight Way by Onega.

Geodude     35%
Nosepass 35%
Roggenrola 18%
Cubone 2%

Only Gible is bad to get. In Omicron, however, they have Diglett instead of Nosepass, so that's a sharp drop in chances.

Good work finding these, by the way. Definitely beats my Special Attack EV training in the Psychic Temple.

I did my speed training at 313. 75% chance of Staravia or Swellow which both yield 2 speed evs. You'd probably probably have to crunch the numbers a bit to see if it's better than 308 which guarantees at least 1 ev per encounter.

Yeah, statistically you would gain 1.5 EV per battle there, but only in Zeta. In Omicron, 25% of Staravia's 35% is replaced by Honchkrow, who doesn't give speed EV's, so your average drops to 1 EV per battle, whereas Route 308 gives 1.33 EV per battle.
So, 313 is better in Zeta, 308 is better in Omicron.

Thanks for that guys, I've added it in. I was playing Omicron so I was a little bit biased in that regard Razz

Why is the app on pokemonzetaomicron(dot)com such a lie?! Spec Def training would be so wonderful if only Zarivar had water like this says it does!
Can anyone prove me wrong here and make me happy, please? Show me that this is actually another route or something? It's not 305 or the Escape Route for sure.

Edit: Also, I just realized that in wild pokemon battles, you can switch out without using up your turn. That is to say, you can switch out to every pokemon you want to gain that EV before either of you uses a turn. So, switch to everyone you want to gain said EV, kill, take no damage, waste no time.

I love this game.
