How to battle online Empty How to battle online

Hi all,

When trying to connect to the server through that large pokécenter thing, I get the message that the "script is hanging", my game saves, and closes. Simple question: what do I need to configure/what's going wrong?

Servers are down right now due to the mystery gift shenanigans.

however, we are doing our best to get them back up for 1.1!
