Different evolution rules
I hope this is the right place for this. How exactly do the rules for evolution differ in the game as opposed to the official games? I know they're different. I am playing Omicron and I have had some Pokemon evolve at levels that are earlier than those listed on Bulbapedia. And I have had my Magmar evolve to Magmortar, much to my surprise, on it's own. I read on Bulbapedia that it should only evolve while holding a specific item while traded.
For the most part evolution seems to follow the standard rules, and some Pokemon like Karrablast evolve when traded. But where are the differences? Right now I am leveling up my Graveler. Will she evolve into a Golem on her own or does she still need to be traded? Or what about my Haunter?
Anybody else notice this?

Re: Different evolution rules
Hello!
I have the same question that you!
I started to play today and i noticed that some pokemons have to be traded to evolve.
Well, i want to know about Riolu, in the Ds games we have to make him happy, but now, i'm really confused how to do this. Will be good know about others pokemons too like Rhydon, Porygon-2, Togetic, etc.

Re: Different evolution rules
Now that I think about it, the other case of evolving early may have been my Magby. Maybe it's because it's a starter in the game, so the rules for it were changed.
If that's true, can anyone support something similar with the other starters?

Re: Different evolution rules
Based on the wiki it seems the 3 starters levels were changed to evolve at 16 and 38
