Unown attacking nothing Empty Unown attacking nothing

Fighting the Unown in Wonder Cave. Fainted one of my pokemans, had one left to use but did not prompt me to bring him out. Just kept repeating Unown using Hidden Power until he ran out of PP then started struggling.
