If it makes you feel any better, lots of new content is on the horizon!

Here's a recent comment by Suze:
First of all, by the end of the game this is a much bigger project then most Pokemon games, there are 3 regions (2 + 0.5 + 0.5), and I'm barely done the first one. On the other hand, though, the Elite Four and the end of1st section of the plot will be coming soon

Try not to grind. I'm worried all those lv120 pokes are gonna sweep through the new content.

My kingdra was alreayd lvl 80 at the time, is that a bad thing?
