Error after breeding

Pokemon Zeta, version 1.4, on Windows 7;
Left ditto and eevee at the daycare, I get the egg, egg hatches.
"Would you like to nickname the newly hatched eevee?"
If I choose yes,
"Script 'PokemonDayCare' line 466: NoMethodError occurred.
Undefined method 'pbNameEntry' for nil:NilClass"
appears, and the game crashes.
